Together, we will change the way we treat mental illness.
M2G MHI is a social impact project turned nonprofit started by M2G’s co-founders to change the way we diagnose and treat mental illness.
M2G’s MHI supports the Center for Depression Research and Clinical Care (CDRC) in our hometown of Fort Worth. At the CDRC, the vision is a future free from the burden of depression. M2G’s partnership with the CDRC aims to bring its services, studies, and resources to children and young adults across our region. The work Dr. Trivedi and his team of researchers are doing is changing the way mental illness is diagnosed and treated, now and in the future.
Since the launch of our partnership in 2019, we have raised over $1.5M to establish and support a clinical site for the CDRC at Moncrief Cancer Institute. Creating an operational presence in Fort Worth has provided residents of Tarrant County with access to novel treatments and research, further expanding the ability to study a broader range of participants in the DFW metroplex.
We have a vision for a world that offers better outcomes, earlier intervention, and a path to healing and wholeness for those individuals and families struggling with a mental illness. And the groundbreaking research conducted within the center is bringing better understanding of the causes of depression, identifying effective new treatments, and improving existing ones in real time.
