Amber is M2G’s secret weapon.
She’s our newest team member, and an expert in retail and mixed-use assets.
As an Aledo-native, Amber has been able to see how much DFW has changed over years, while being integral to that growth. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Marketing from Texas Wesleyan University then joined Transwestern’s Retail Team in 2015 which sparked her career in hospitality and retail brokerage focusing on urban mixed-use projects and emerging concepts in the market.
At M2G, the same obsession we feel toward the history and culture of a space is applied to researching the history and culture of potential tenants. To Amber, it’s not about finding thematic matches on the surface level, it’s about digging deep to find those special businesses whose DNA is aligned with the soul of the place we are crafting. With Amber joining the team, we are able to fire every arrow in our quiver, leveraging our ownership mindset, experience on both the tenant and landlord sides of the equation, and our vertically-integrated structure to achieve results that linger in the minds of visitors indefinitely.
Not to mention, Amber is already setting a new standard of style around the office. She’s clearly our best-dressed team member! Off the clock, Amber is an adrenaline junkie with a love of extreme sports like snowboarding, golf, and enjoys everything outdoors.

What led you to M2G Ventures?
The current mixed-use projects M2G had in the pipeline aligned with the way I saw the trajectory of my career going with a focus on local projects highlighting mixed-use tenants.
How would you describe your role in a few sentences?
As VP of Leasing I will be assisting in prospecting, tours, drafting proposals, and lease negotiations, and working directly with tenants or brokers on behalf on the landlord to ensure the deal gets done in a timely manner.
Your niche is urban mixed-use projects. What excites you about this product type?
No deal is the same, you can work with a mom and pop/start-up or a corporate user in the same project.
What has been the biggest surprise since joining M2G?
How well everyone works with one another. A true team!
Do you have any favorite projects or deals you’ve worked on? If so, what made them so special?
Urban Union in Downtown Arlington! Over the years, the developer purchased car lots and old auto repair shops to redevelop into a mixed-use project.
What is a surprising fact about you that not many people in the office would know?
I can ride a dirt bike and love all extreme sports. Snowboarding, surfing, wakeboarding etc. Also very good at bowling!
As a Fort Worth native, what has it been like seeing our city change over the years?
Native-ish (Aledo)! Being a part of the growth of Fort Worth has meant so much to me and my career. Fort Worth is an interesting market because we have so many sub-markets that keep the city unique. Developers have done a great job putting their stamp on these sub-markets but keeping the culture of Cowtown alive.
What was your very first job and how did it impact the trajectory of your career?
Teaching young kids how to ride horses in summer camp. Not only having the responsibility of a child but an animal as well. It taught me how to multi-task and learn patience at a very young age.
Describe your perfect day!
Professionally – On-site conducting tours with very little screen time. Personally – Spending time with family outdoors.
